Senior Application Developer

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Application Developer. Successful candidates will work in a dynamic, team-based environment where individual contributions make a difference.

• Work with Project Management, Architects and Application Developers on application design and development
• Translate functional specifications into detailed written technical specifications and unit test plans
• Develop web-based software, components and services using .NET as well as traditional ASP (e.g. C#, VB .NET, VBScript, JavaScript and HTML)
• Consult with the QA and development teams in the resolution of application-related problems

• Detailed understanding of the IIS platform and architecture including COM and the .NET Framework
• Detailed understanding of Oracle database development using PL/SQL, packages and procedures
• Experienced developing web and component -based applications using Visual Studio.Net
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for full software development life cycle
• Must be able to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job function
• BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with a combination of C#, VB .NET, Visual Basic 6, IIS and Oracle PL/SQL
• Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) is a plus
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently within a fast paced, team-oriented environment
